The value for money at this hidden gem in the jungle was exceptional. Our room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect for a nature lover like me, with beautiful wooded surroundings and even the chance to spot monkeys. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, even waking up early to prepare breakfast for us before our flight.

Cheel Lodge & Camping was by far the most romantic, unique, and magical place my girlfriend and I stayed during our five-week trip along the east coast of Mexico. the luxury cabana offered the best mattress and softest sheets we had ever experienced. the surrounding wild jungle filled with the calls of toucans and monkeys provided a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. the owners were gracious and kind, offering rides into town and taking us to a nearby cenote for a swim. It was a refreshing shift of pace after weeks of bus travel and crowded hostels.

Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

I had a blast staying at this eco lodge. My own bathroom with hot water, surrounded by the cool jungle, and a tasty breakfast. Plus, a convenient parking spot for my car. Perfect!

Who needs modern amenities like a water park, when you can enjoy the lovely moldy teepee experience? It's like camping, but with extra spores!
